Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie Sue Barham, 69, will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the First Baptist Church. She passed away Wednesday about noon after a lengthy illness. Kilpatrick Funeral Home will have charge of the arrangements.

The Rev. A. H. Pruitt, pastor of the Pine Grove Baptist Church and formerly of Dubach will officiate assisted by the Rev. A. H. Doty, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Dubach. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Barham had been a lifelong member of the Baptist Church and was widely known for her charity extended to all in need.

Survivors include her husband, C. C. Barham and her sisters: Mrs. A. B. Atkins, and Mrs. Chris Lay in Homer, La., and Mrs. J. B. Hill in Houston, Texas. Her brothers are Charles Colvin and Joe Colvin in Dubach.
