Survived by his daughter Barbara Clements Layne of Lynchburg, Virginia, stepdaughters, Holly, Jean, Connie and Faye, 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Teresa Clements, 2 brothers, Alan and Elmer Clements, 2 sisters, Wynell Davis and Zelda Clements and son Charles "Billy" Clements.

Services will be held on February 10, 2012 in the Chapel at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD. The Rev. Michael Jones from Patuxent Presbyterian will be officiating.
