Charles E. "Charlie" Clark 85,of Texarkana, Texas died Sunday August 10,2003 in a local hospital. Mr. Clark was born May 19,1918 in Nashville, Ark. He was retired from Red River Army Depot, a deacon and member of Myrtle Springs Baptist Church, Hooks Masonic Lodge 1358, Hooks Order of Eastern Star Chapter 1031, Scottish Rite 32nd Degree Mason and New Boston Chapter and Council. He was preceaded in death by one son, Carlos Eugene Clark, in 1957. Survivors include his wife, Florence Clark of Texarkana; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Philis Clark of Atlanta, Texas; and Thomas "Tom" and Gloria Clark of Hooks, Texas; two daughters, Wanda Floyd of Texarkana; and Fran Clark of Red Lick, Texas; three sisters, Esther Young of Texarkana, Ark; Anna Harris of Hooks; and Joyce Johnson of Hemit, Calif; 12 grandchildren and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Texarkana Funeral Home Fuqua-Everett Memorial Chapel with the Rev. James Seigler officiating. Burial will be in Red Lick Cemetery with Masonic Rites.
