Julian W. Case was born in Bremer county, Iowa, July 21, 1859. He received a fair common-school education and also took a four year course at the State Teachers' College of Cedar Falls and spent one year at Hamilton College, New York. He married Lucy Lurenz, of Rockford, Iowa, and to them three children were born, Percival H., Florence M. and Harold M. Mr. Case entered the ministry of the Baptist denomination and held pastorates at Grand Junction, Iowa; LaCrosse, Wisconsin; Macomb, Illinois; Detroit, Michigan; Canastota, New York; Scranton, Pennsylvania; and Mumford, New York. He is at present working for the Anti-Saloon Leagues, with his home in Rochester, New York.
