Jarrell Dean Cantrell, 84, of Lacy Lakeview, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2011, in Canyon Lake, Texas. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 26, at Waco Memorial Park with Father Timothy Vaverek officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 25, at Bellmead Funeral Home.

Jarrell was born in Waco, Texas, to the late John and Della Cantrell. He worked for the MKT Railroad for 15 years before becoming disabled. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife Georgie (Mokry) Cantrell; and a brother.

Survivors include his daughter, Dorothy Jean Schaefer, of Minnesota; son, Dennis Witt, of Canyon Lake; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
