Georgie Marie Cantrell, 87, of Lacy Lakeview, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011, at a Waco hospital. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 17, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Timothy Vaverek officiating. Burial will be at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 16, at Bellmead Funeral Home.

Georgie was born in Granger, Texas, to the late George and Mary (Matula) Mokry. She was a homemaker and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, Jarrell Dean Cantrell, of Lacy Lakeview; step-daughter, Dorothy Jean Schaefer, of Minnesota; step-son, Dennis Witt Cantrell, of Canyon Lake; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Lillian Magown, of Houston, Tillie Mokry and Bernadette Mokry, both of Corpus Christi, and Mary Agnes Kadlubar, of Conroe; brothers, Jerry Mokry and Laddie Mokry, both of Corpus Christi, George Mokry, of Lake Whitney, and Alvis Mokry, of Ennis; and many nieces and nephews.
