'BUD' CAMP
PALESTINE -- Services for A.B. "Bud" Camp, 74, Conroe, formerly of Palestine, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bailey Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Otis Felton officiating.
Burial will be in Camp Cemetery.
Mr. Camp died Sunday in a Houston hospital after a long illness.
Born in Palestine, he was the son of a pioneer Palestine family. His father was Albert Burns Camp and his mother Alice Grooms Camp. He was a member of Woodmen of the World Circle and a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Effie Camp, Conroe; six sons, Howard Camp of Corpus Christi, Frank Camp of Nederland, Harland Camp of Livingston, Vernon Camp of Odessa, Bob Camp of Friendswood, and Don Camp of Tucson, Ariz.; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Bomer of Houston and Mrs. Eleanor Gore of Palestine; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
