Paul Dean (Butch) Cummins, 42, son of John and Viola Cummins was born July 18, 1946 in the state of Ohio. He passed away July 25, 1988 at the Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston following a brief illness.

He was married August 22, 1967 to Charlotte Pierce and to this union one son, Johnny, was born.

His parents, grandparents, a half brother and sister and 2 nephews preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife Charlotte, his son, Johnny Paul, daughter and son-in-law, LeAndra and Frank Wade, one sister, Sondra of Licking, a half-sister, Jeaneane of Licking, 4 half brothers, Donnie of St. Louis, Jack of Idaho, Jerry of California and Jim of Arizona, his mother and father-in-law of St. Louis, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Butch will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

He is at peace with God, and touched many lives since he accepted Christ as his Savior a few months ago.

Services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 27 at Success Baptist Church. Rev. Sheldon Zook officiated. Burial was in Smith Cemetery under direction of Evans Funeral Home.
