Viola Cummins, 71, daughter of Charles and Addie Routh, was born February 2, 1912. She died January 22, 1984 at the Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston.
She was united in marriage to Cecil Barnhart and to this union seven children were born.
In 1945 she was united in marriage to John A. Cummins and to this union two children were born.
Her parents, two children, one grandchild and a sister preceded her in death.
Survivors are her husband, John of the home; five sons, Paul (Butch) of Success, Donald of St. Louis, Jack of Idaho, Jimmy of Arizona and Jerry of California; two daughters, Sondra of Success and Jeaneane of Houston; 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and one brother, Charles Routh of California.
Funeral services were Thursday, Jan. 26 at the Success Baptist Church with Mack Benson officiating. Burial was in the Smith Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
