Graveside services for Mrs. Elma Lee Burt will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2003 at Centuries Memorial Park, Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Pastor Ed Flemming.
Mrs. Burt passed away Sunday, June 8, 2003 at Riverview Nursing Home. She had just received her 50 year pin from the Eastern Stars of Columbia, MS.
She was preceded in death by her husband Walter N. Burt.
She is survived by one daughter, Elaine Thompson and her husband Phil; one sister, Nellie Lea of North Carolina; three grandchildren, Phyllis Miller and her husband Levi, Melinda Slocum, and Walter Thompson and his wife Becky; two great-grandchildren, Rhonda Sandifer and her husband Gary Jr., and John Brocato; and three great-great-grandchildren, Christa Woodard, Meranda Sandifer, and Felecia Whitt.
