Former Resident Dies in Fort Collins -
Mrs Dixie Buckles, 67, died at her home 213 1/2 South College, Fort Collins (Colorado) Monday morning following an illness of nine months.
Mes. Buckles came to Longmont (Colorado) from Oklahoma in 1915, and made her home here until November, 1960, when she moved to Fort Collins to live with a daughter, Mrs Ethel Poole.
The deceased was born at Knoxville, Tenn, Sept 22, 1893. Her husband, Joe Buckles died in 1952.
In addition to her daughter survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Ivra Reed, Mrs. Betsy Newton, Mrs. Jennie Rees and Mrs. Sallie Winder all of Longmont. Also, she was the mother of Roy McKay, Bakersfield Calif; Marion, Phoenix Arix., and James Modesto, Calif.. Nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildre are living.
Services will be held from the Lewellen Funeral Home at 2 pm Wednesday, the Rev. W.L Price officiating. Burial will be made in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mrs. Dixie Bucles, a former resident of Longmont who came here last November, died this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ethel Poole of 312 ½ South College Avenue.
Aged 67, she was the widow of Joe Bucles, who died at Longmont in 1952. Her death followed an illness of eight months.
Mrs. Bucles was born at Knoxville, ten., Sept. 22, 1893, and married Mr. Bucles at North Platte, Neb., Feb 2, 1943. She had lived at Longmont since 1915 and was a member of a Baptist Church.
Her four children are Mrs. Poole, Ray McKay or Bakersfield, Calif., Marion McKay of Phoenix, Ariz., and James McKay of Modesto, Calif. There are nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Sisters are Mrs. Iriva Reed, Mrs. Betsey Newton, Mrs. Jennie Rees and Mrs. Sallie Winder, all of Longmont.

COLORADO COUPLE WED
Joseph Hamilton Buckles and Dixie Florence McKay, both residents of Longmont, Colo., were united in marriage by Justice of the Peace O. A. Johnson in his office Thursday afternoon. Attending the couple as witnesses were Athol Amon and Ethel Amon, also residents of Longmont.
