Clarence James Bresley Dies at Arcadia Home
Clarence James Bresley was born at Ord, Nebr., on Sept. 19, 1885 and passed away Aug. 3, 1956 at his home in Arcadia, Nebr., at the age of 70 years, 10 months and 17 days. His early years were spent near Ord. On February 10, 1909 he was united in marriage to Ollie Alice Cronk at Ord. To this union four children were born; Calvert, Thelma, Keith and Edgar. Most of his life was spent milling and farming until his health failed.
He is survived by his wife, Ollie of Arcadia; his sons, Calvert of New Castle, Wyo., and Edgar of Arcadia; four granddaughters, three grandson; a brother, Harry Bresley and a sister, Mrs. Joe Anderson, both of Ord, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death were a daughter, Thelma Street; a son, Keith; his parents and two brothers. He believed, and spent his life practicing the Golden Rule. He was a loving father and will be missed by is many relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at the Hastings-Pearson Mortuary in Ord Tuesday, Aug. 7. Place of interment was the Arcadia City Cemetery.
