WATER VALLEY, Ky. — Osella Barnes, 91, of Water Valley died Tuesday at Martin Healthcare in Martin, Tenn.
Mrs. Barnes was a member of Bayou De Chien Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was a homemaker and a former member of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 554.
Surviving are three daughters, Judy Brown of Wingo, Ouida Fields of Convoy, Ohio, and Carol Pounds of South Fulton, Tenn.; four sons, Gayle Barnes, Gerald Barnes, Roger Barnes and Mike Barnes, all of Water Valley; one sister, Sue Laird of Houston; 14 grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and seven stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Burnie W. Barnes; one daughter, Rita Jean Barnes; two brothers; and four sisters. Her parents were William Franklin Boyd and Lottie McNeil Boyd.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton. Burial will be at Camp Beauregard Cemetery.
