Death notice lists his name as "Alanson Bostwick". Misidentified as "Auson" Bostwick in some transcripts of Elmwood Cemetery records.

Anson served as Captain in the Vermont militia during the War of 1812 from September 24 1813 through November 18 1813.

Anson married Lucinda Lane on October 27 1807. They Lucinda died in Underhill, Vermont on December 17 1817.
Their children include Armon 1809 -1810, Anson 1811 - 1813, and Corintha CLeora Bostwick Evarts 1813 -

On January 17, 1830, Anson married Sarepta Hadley.
