Billy "Papa" Bonner, 84, of Deer Creek Circle, died Monday, April 20, 2015, at a local hospice facility.

The family will greet friends from 6:00 - 8:00pm, Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Bridges Funeral Home in Gray. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at Henderson Road Baptist Church with interment at Cedar Ridge Cemetery. Rev. Wayne Pritchard will officiate.

Mr. Bonner was born February 7, 1931, in Haddock and had lived in Gray for the past forty-five years. He was the son of the late Sam Bonner and Mary Etta Califf Bonner. Mr. Bonner was a member of Henderson Road Baptist Church and was a retired self-employed drywall contractor. He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-two years: Elizabeth Delia Cook Bonner.

Mr. Bonner is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law: Ray and Rose Bonner and W. L. Bonner; daughter and son-in-law: Sharon and Dale Kitchens; grandchildren and spouses: Renee and Warren Stripling; Lamar and Cindy Bonner, Brandy and Tom Watkins, Billy and April Bonner, Amber and Jamie Baughman and Traci Kitchens; great-grandchildren and spouse: Karissa and Jeff Robinson, Thomas Watkins, Katlyn Bonner, Luke Stripling, Dennis Bonner, Taylor Watkins, Garrett Baughman, Chase Baughman, Ronnie Bonner; great-great granddaughter: Elizabeth Rose Robinson and by many nieces and nephews

The family may be contacted at the residence of Sharon and Dale Kitchens at 130 Christopher Drive in Gray and the residence of Ray and Rose Bonner at 149 Tanner Terrace in Jones County.

Flowers will be accepted, however those who wish may make contributions to Henderson Road Baptist Church, 742 Henderson Road, Gray, Georgia 31217 or to Pinepointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, Georgia 31210.
