JONES COUNTY: Elizabeth Delia Cook "Nanny" Bonner, 78, of Deer Creek Circle, died Monday, August 16, 2010, at Lynn Haven Nursing Home. The family will greet friends from 6:00 - 8:00pm, Wednesday at Bridges Funeral Home in Gray. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, Thursday, August 19, 2010, in the chapel of Bridges Funeral Home, with burial following at Cedar Ridge Cemetery in Gray. Rev. Wayne Pritchard will officiate the services.

Mrs. Bonner, the daughter of the late Clarence Lamar Cook and Eudell Lavender Cook, was born on October 15, 1931, in Macon, and had lived in Jones County for the past thirty-eight years. She was a member of Henderson Road Baptist Church and was a Certified Nursing Assistant, having retired from Lynn Haven Nursing Home in Gray after seventeen years of service.

Mrs. Bonner is survived by her devoted husband of sixty-two years: Billy Bonner of Jones County, sons and daughter-in-law: Ray and Rose Bonner and W. L. Bonner, all of Jones County; daughter and son-in-law: Sharon and Dale Kitchens of Jones County; grandchildren and their spouses: Renee and Warren Stripling, Lamar and Cindy Bonner, Brandy and Tom Watkins, Billy and April Bonner, Amber and Jamie Baughman and Traci Kitchens, all of Jones County; great-grandchildren and spouse: Karissa and Jeff Robinson, Thomas Watkins, Katlyn Bonner, Luke Stripling, Dennis Bonner, Taylor Watkins, Garrett Baughman, Chase Baughman and Ronnie Bonner, all of Jones County; and by many nieces and nephews.
