Saturday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday
at the funeral home, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2
He is survived by his wife, Myrtle "Bobbie" Garrett Blanchard of Houma;
two sons, David Blanchard of Lafayette, and Michael Blanchard of Houma; two
daughters, Lynne Blanchard and Patricia "Patti" B. Champagne, both of Houma;
eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raoul and Bernice Roddy Blanchard;
and one brother, Millard Blanchard.
He was the self-employed/owner of R. G. S. Supermarket, a graduate of
Terrebonne High School., a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a veteran of the
Louisiana National Guard and a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church.
