MRS. ANNA KROGMAN BURIED AT ASHTON
Death Is Result of Heart Attack-Funeral Held Tuesday
Funeral services were held here Tuesday morning from St Mary's Catholic church at 6 o'clock for
Mrs. Anna Krogman who passed away suddenly Friday evening November 20, death being due to
a heart attack. Rev. E. J. Neppl officiated. Mrs. Frank Krogman, nee Anna Bergfield, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Barney Bergfield, was born October 18, 1867, at Petersburg, Iowa. February 16 1802, she was united in marriage to Mr. Frank Krogman at St. Peter and Paul church at Petersburg, Following their marriage they resided on a farm near Hull In 1893 they moved to Osceola county and settled on a farm 4 miles southeast of Ashton where they lived until their death. Her husband preceded her in death 11 years ago. This union was blessed with five children, one daughter dying in infancy. Those surviving are Mrs. Kate Wiltgen, Mrs. Mayme Berning Jbhn and Ben Krogman, all of Ashton; seven grandchildren two brothers, Henry and Barney Bergfield of Dyersville. Mrs. Krogman was a member of the Catholic church and a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. Burial was made in the Catholic cemetery.
