Mrs. Edna Bell, 65, of 3910 S. Walnut Street Road, died early this morning at Bloomington Hospital.
A native of Greene County, she was born Jan. 26, 1907, the daughter of Charles and Ethel Minks, and was the widow of Charles Bell, who died in 1970. She had been employed at Sarkes Tarzian and was a member of the Pentecostal church and the Rebekah Lodge.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Alice Begley of Paragon; a son, John, of Missouri; four sisters, Mrs. Pearl Collier of Ellettsville, and Mrs. Louise Ritter, Mrs. Nellie McCoy, and Mrs. Bertha Lawson, all of Bloomington; three grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Day Mortuary Chapel, with the Rev. Floyd Allender presiding. Burial will follow in Clear Creek Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 12 noon-9 p.m. Friday, and from 9:30 a.m. until time for the service on Saturday.
