Dolores Ann Thomas, 71, of Oxford, died on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at the Jennersville Regional Hospital. She was the wife of the late William J. Thomas, Sr. who died in 2009. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Alice May Haines Baxter.

An area resident all her life, Dolores was a member of the Christiana Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by three children; Brian K. Thomas and wife Diane of Quarryville, Mary Beth Powell of Parkesburg and William J. Thomas, Jr. and wife June of Kirkwood, six grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, five brothers; Allan of Texas, Donald of Ohio, Robert and Jacob both of Coatesville and David Baxter of Ronks and four sisters; Margaret Baxter of Phoenixville, Gloria Kulinick of Downingtown, Carol Hanna of Coatesville and Phyllis Loftus of Pomeroy.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at 11am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, followed by interment at the Penningtonville Presbyterian Cemetery in Atglen, PA. Viewing from 10 to 11am.
