MRS. MYRON BISHOP, AUBURN WOMAN, DIES OF APOPLEXY

Just three weeks to the day after her son, Etna E. Bishop, a World war I veteran, died after a long illness, his mother, Mrs. Myron Bishop of 1333 Soul Main street. Auburn, passed away.

Her death took place at the family home Thursday morning at 9:40 o'clock as the result of two strokes of apoplexy. She was first stricken two weeks ago and again on Feb. 28. For some time previously Mrs. Bishop had been in failing health.

Mrs. Bishop, who before her marriage was Malinda J. Baughman, was born June 14. 1867, on the old Baughman farm three miles northeast of Auburn.

Her marriage to Mr. Bishop occurred forty-two years ago. They made their residence in Auburn for the last nine years.

To Mr. and Mrs. Bishop were born five children, only one of whom, Mrs. Tom Shaffer of Auburn, survives. Besides the husband and daughter there survive five brothers. Edward, Cyrus, Canada and Munson Baughman of near Auburn, and Judson Baughman of Dadesville. Mo., three full sisters, Mrs. Joseph Pifer of near Moore, Mrs. Howard Franks, residing ten miles east of Auburn, and Miss Rose Baughman of near Auburn, and two half sisters, Mrs. Elvira Layman of near Auburn, and Mrs. .Hattie Barnhart of near South Haven, Mich. Another sister, Mrs. Amanda Moughler of near Butler, died two months ago.

The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the late residence, the Rev. Joseph Ferguson of east of Auburn, officiating. Burial wa made in Roselawn cemetery.
