Aged farmer living in the vicinity of Mooresville passed away at his country home Saturday. Died from Bright's Disease. Came from Ohio while Young Man Locating in Neighborhood Where He Spent Remainder of Life
Solomon Baughman, aged eighty years, died at his country home three miles northeast of Auburn, near Mooresville, Saturday evening at 8:50 o'clock after suffering from Bright's disease for several weeks. Mr. Baughman is one of the early settlers in that vicinity, having settled on a farm when he arrived from Ohio several years ago. His wife preceded him to the spirit world fifteen years ago on the 10th day of December. After cutting a home in the forest, the young couple reared a family of seventeen children, fourteen of whom are living. The funeral will be held from the home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Clark officiating. Burial will be made in the Stroh cemetery.
