Beverly "Jean" Bartoe of Orient, formally of Grove City, was called home to the Lord Sunday, April 6, 2008. Born February 12, 1934 to Edmond and Waustella McNabb. Graduate of Grove City High School class of 1952. Jean was a Southwestern City Schools bus driver for 20 years. She taught Catechism classes for years to many public school children. She loved sewing and working with ceramics. Preceded in death by father Edmond McNabb, step-father William Perrin, mother & father-in-law Rose & David Bartoe, brothers-in-law Harold Shea and Francis Strapp. Survived by husband of 56 years, John David "Jack" Bartoe, mother Waustella Perrin, children Debbie (Joe) Moeller, David (Cathi) Bartoe, John Bartoe, Cindy (John) Schemrich, Tom (Leah) Bartoe, Jeff (Karen) Bartoe; grandchildren Monica (Brant) Jordan, Danielle (Jeremy) Williams, John (Andrea) Schemrich, Brian Moeller (Heather Fink), Jacob (Sara) Bartoe, Michael (Chantee') Bartoe, Sarah Bartoe, Lynnsey Schemrich (Jamie Tackett), Ashley Bartoe, and Steven Meinken; great-grandchildren Colton, Kylee, Austin, Julian and Carlos, brother Ed (Jan) McNabb, sisters-in-law Betty Strapp, Rita Shea and Shirley (George) Koyro, brother-in-law Thomas J. (Pam) Bartoe, many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 Wednesday, April 9, at Schoedinger Grove City Chapel, 3920 Broadway, Grove City. Funeral Mass will be held 10am Thursday, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 584 W. Broad Street, Columbus, with Fr. Kevin Lutz as Celebrant. Burial to follow at Concord Cemetery.
