John "Jack" David Bartoe, age 76 passed away at the Ohio State Medical Center on Thursday, August 25, 2011.
He was born to late David and Rose Bartoe on October 19, 1934.
John was a meat cutter for many years at various places in and around Columbus. He retired from UFCW Local 1059. John was also a member of Columbus Lodge # 30, F.& A.M.
He is preceded in death by his wife Beverly Jean (McNabb) Bartoe; son John Bartoe; sister, Rita Shea; and in-laws, Earl and Waustella (Howard) McNabb.
He is survived by his children, Deborah (Joseph) Moeller, David (Cathy) Bartoe, Cindy (John) Schemrich, Thomas (Leah) Bartoe, Jeffery (Karen) Bartoe; 13 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Strapp, Shirley Koyro; brother, Thomas Bartoe; brother-in-law, Ed McNabb; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
John will be gone from our lives, but not from our hearts.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am, Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 584 W. Broad St., Columbus Fr. Tomson celebrant.
Interment at Concord Cemetery.
