Beatrice Barnhart 3 Nov 1910 - 29 Oct 1997

Beatrice McGlothlin “Bea” Barnhart, age 86, of Honaker, Virginia, passed away Wednesday (October 29, 1997) in a Lebanon, Virginia hospital. Born November 3,1910 in Honaker, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late William Lowe and Minnie Catherine Wilson McGlothlin. She was a lifelong resident of the Honaker area and a member of the Bethany Baptist Church of Honaker. In addition to her parents, she was

preceded in death by her husband, Roby C. Barnhart, one grandchild, Earshel C. Barnhart, three sisters, Effie Dye, Jean Lois McGlothlin, and Eva McGlothlin, and one brother, Claude McGlothlin. Survivors include four daughters, Mary Holley, Agnes Stoops, Shirley Owens, and Cathy Jones all of Honaker; two sons, Billy E. Barnhart and Lawrence “Park” Barnhart both of Honaker; one sister, Audrey Price of Honaker; two brothers, Clayton McGlothlin and Clarence McGlothlin both of Honaker; thirteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 am Saturday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia, with Rev. Stephen Musick and Rev. Ancil Childress officiating. Interment followed in the McGlothlin Family Cemetery on Big A Mountain. Grandsons and nephews served as pallbearers. Honaker Funeral Home was in charge.
