Survivors include his father, Charlie Barnes of Irvine; one son, Donald Ray Barnes and wife Angie of Bath County; five sisters, Patsy Packett and husband Robert, and Connie Glasson and husband Tracy, both of Irvine, Barbara Hunter and husband Terry of Charlotte, N.C., Peggy Perkins and huband Steven of Lexington, Bonnie Raddill and husband James of Winchester, four brothers, James Darrell Barnes and wife Debbie of Irvine, Johnie Barnes and wife Helen of Berea, Raleigh Barnes and wife Cindy of N. Vernon, Ind. and Tommy Barnes and wife Pam of Clay City; and three grandchildren, Jonah, Andrew an d Tyanna Barnes.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Lonnie Barnes.
Funeral services at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Marvin Neal and Bro. Terry Hunter with burial at the Jackson Chapel Cemetery.
