MRS. BARKDOLL DIES IN WEST
A telegram received here this morning by Mrs. Jacob Snowberger, North Grant Street, from William Barkdolll, Indianapolis, Ind., announced the death yesterday afternoon of his wife, MRS. ALICE BARKDOLL, following a short illness. The body will arrive here Saturday evening and the funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the First Brethren church, of which the deceased was a member and burial in Green Hill cemetery. Mrs. Barkdoll was the daughter of George Snodderly, deceased, and was born in the Rock Forge neighborhood, south of Waynesboro, and was well known here where she and her husband resided for several years. Later they moved to Gettysburg, then to Greencastle, and ten years ago to Indianapolis.
Besides, her husband Mrs. Barkdoll is survived by three children, all physicians, namely, Dr. Frank Barkdoll, Cumberland, Md.; Dr. Grover Barkdoll, Indianapolis, and Dr. (Miss) Etta Barkdoll, near Indianapolis; also, two brothers and one sister: George Snodderly, St. James, Md. and Daniel Snodderly, and Mrs. Freland Anderson, Leitersburg.
Mrs. Jacob Snowberger is a sister of Mr. Barkdoll.
