Mrs. Raymond Laney died at her home in Buford township last Monday morning about eleven o'clock. She married Mr. Laney about three months ago and is survived by her husband and two small children by her first husband, who was Charles Aycock. Mrs. Laney was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Griffin and on her dying bed she requested that they care for one of her children and that her brother, Charles Griffin, care for the other. She was a member of the Baptist church and was an excellent woman. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at Macedonia church.
