Doris Gunter Atha, age 84, of Monroe, died June 18, 2007. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday in Center Hill Baptist Church with remains placed instate at 1:30 PM. Rev. Randy Strickland and Rev. Marion Prather will officiate. Interment will be in the church cemetery. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law; Glenn and Gail Atha and Gerald and Cindy Atha, all of Monroe; sisters, Myrtle G. Cox, Florence and Harry Knight, Runelle and Max Laseter, all of Monroe and Mary Lena and Rufus Rowland of Lexington; brothers; Jack Gunter of Atlanta and Fred and Ann Gunter of Augusta; six grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, nieces and nephews.
