Emma Lois Walker, beloved Mother, Grandmother and MeMaw was born to Porter and Hassie Arnold on March 1, 1923 in Lela Lake, Texas. She celebrated 92 years of life until she went to be with the Lord on the morning of September 9, 2015.
Lois Walker was married to Roy Mack Walker for 66 years until his death in 2011. She is survived by two sons; Cliff Walker with wife Elizabeth of Dallas, Texas and Jimmy Walker with wife Karen of Amarillo, Texas. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; Sunny Walker Irlbeck with husband Kyle of Canyon, Texas and daughter Emma, son Lukas; Bill Walker of Houston, Texas; Jaime Walker Kidd with husband Cody of Lubbock, Texas and son Dax, daughter Lyla; Dan Walker with wife Karah of Port LaVaca, Texas and daughters Madison and Kenedy; Jon Mac Edwards with wife Kristin of Carrollton, Texas and son Gideon, daughter Olive. Lois is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband; Roy Mack, daughter Cindy, and daughter-in-law Sandy Walker.
Funeral Service will be held 1:30 p.m., Sunday, September 13, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Silverton. She will be buried next to Roy Mack in the Silverton Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in her name to the BSA Hospice at 600 North Tyler, Amarillo, Texas 79107.
