Maria "Cedelia" was born on December 3, 1927 In Ojo Sarco, New Mexico, to Adinia Romero Armijo and Augustin Armijo.
She was married to Jose Liberato Aguilar for more than 53 years. They both had five children, Fred Melvin (Sandy) Aguilar; Geneva (Fred) Marquez; Aileen (David) Garcia; Connie McCowan; and Marlyne (Mike) Pearson.
Maria "Cedelia" leaves behind her three children, 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her sisters and brothers. She leaves behind numerous nephews and nieces.
Maria "Cedelia" is preceded in death by two of her children, Fred Melvin Aguilar(6/25/73), Geneva Rose Aguilar Marquez (10/13/98), son-in-law, Fred J. Marquez (8/12/80) and her parents.
Maria "Cedelia" and her family want to give a special heartfelt thanks to their many relatives and friends who helped care for her during her difficult journey.
Maria "Cedelia" has been an Inspiration and a humble blessing to everyone who made her acquaintance. She will be deeply missed. "Our dearest wife and beloved mother we will miss you so much" We now know that you have eternal pence and life.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday December 1 1999, at 11 a.m. at St Joseph The Worker, Catholic Church. 7405 S. Redwood Road. Friends may call Tuesday evening at 8 p.m. (9 p.m. Rosary) at the church and Wednesday one hour prior to the services at the church. Funeral directors Memorial Estates Mortuary. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery.
