Andrew was born Oct. 30,1901,in Union County,South Dakota,son of Henry & Margaret(Friedrickson)Andresen.He came to Iowa at the age of five with his family to a farm in Portland twp.He attended Portland Twp country school and lived on the same farm until he married Emma Hillrichs on Jan. 30,1929.They moved to a farm in Portland Twp and lived on the farms in Preston and Portland Townships until retiring and moving to Akron in 1971.They were blessed with three children:Lois who married Norman Heeren;Delores now deceased;and Donna who married Eldon Boyer.
