Wyona Virginia Anderson Allred Date: June 24, 2006 OGDEN - Our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Wyona Virginia Anderson Allred passed away quietly on June 23, 2006 at her daughters home from complications of Parkinsons. She was born April 6, 1920 in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of Ilda Hayward and Frank Anderson. Wyona met and married the love of her life, Vernon Wilford Allred on Sept. 18, 1944. She was reared in Mountain View, WY, Lucine, UT and Ogden, UT. She was a graduate of Holy Cross Nursing School in Salt Lake City, UT, receiving her RN degree in 1942. She worked at the TB Sanitarium in Ogden and before retiring, finished her nursing career at the Weber County Health Dept. Her countless acts of caring and support for family and friends and also her strength, courage and love will be her legacy. She has been and always will be the Wind Beneath Our Wings. Surviving are her daughters Frances Wheeler; Peggy Ann Smith (Russell); four grandchildren and one great-grandchild, which has been the light of her life. Preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers and one sister. The family would like to thank Hospice for all the help and concern, especially Dr. Holland, Lisa, Kim, Melissa, Heather and Kevin.
