Kenneth Gordon Anderson Jr., of Rockport, W.Va., passed away at 5:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital following a long illness.

He was born July 20, 1935, at Rockport, the son of Kenneth Gordon Anderson Sr. and the late Geraldine States Anderson. He graduated from Parkersburg High School, where he had been active in track, football and FFA. His great love was farming and cattle.

In addition to his father, Gordon is survived by sons, Kevin Glen and wife, Stephanie, and Kim Harrison Anderson; grandchildren, Shannon Michael Anderson, Kevin Glen Anderson Jr., Christopher Steven Anderson and Kristen Nicole Anderson; and the mother of his children and beloved friend, Susan Ellen Oliver of Vienna.

He was a member of Limestone United Methodist Church.

His body has been donated to The Human Gift Registry. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Limestone United Methodist Church, with visitation one hour prior to services. The Rev. Vera Archer will officiate.
