He was born May 29, 1913, at Rockport, son of Oscar Glenn and Della Catherine Anderson. Kenneth was retired from Borg Warner, was a member of Parkersburg Masonic Lodge 103 AF&AM and was a member of the Limestone United Methodist Church. He was a wonderful husband, dad, grandpa, brother and friend.
Surviving are his two grandsons, Kevin Glen Anderson (Stephanie) of Mineral Wells and Kim Harrison Anderson of Rockport; four great-grandchildren, Shannon Michael, Kevin Glen Jr., and Kristopher Steven Anderson of Mineral Wells and Kristen Nicole Anderson of Vienna; sisters, Juanita Dent States and Carolyn Dent Bridges; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Susan Oliver.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his loving wife of 71 years, Geraldine States Anderson; son, Kenneth Gordon Anderson Jr.; and infant twin babies that passed away at birth Lois Ann and Michael Gene;
Kenneth donated his body to the Medical Science Department of West Virginia University.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, April 5, at the Limestone United Methodist Church, with Pastor Vera Archer officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service.
Memorial donations may be sent to the Limestone Church Cemetery Fund.
