He was born December 16, 1932 in Breedsville, MI, the son of the late Francis Anderson and the late Elizabeth Gettig Anderson. He was married to Wanda Wilson in 1980, she survives.
He was the owner and operator of the Poor Boy Trading Post in Logansport since 1980.
Surviving with his wife are 4 Daughters, Charlene Woods of Benton Harbor, MI, Kathreen (Bill) Ledbetter of Osceola, FL, Deb (Mike) Cunningham of Kalamazoo, MI, Cindy Strayer of Logansport, IN; 5 Sons, Russell (Martha) Anderson of Burrows, IN, Chuck (Chris) Anderson of Kalamazoo, MI, Josh (Krista) Anderson of Logansport, IN, Jerry Strayer of Terre Haute, IN, Chris (Teresa) Strayer of Akron, IN; twenty-one grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren; Sister, Betty McLaughlin of Benton Harbor, MI.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one sister, and one great grandson.

Services will be held at Fisher Funeral Chapel, Saturday, March 11, 2006 at 4:00 PM with Dr. Gregory Elkins officiating.
Interment will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
