Born on September 23, 1943 in Logansport, IN, she was the daughter of the late Homer Sr and Elva (Williams) Wilson.
Her first marriage was to Tom Strayer, who preceded her in death. In 1982 in Van Wert, OH, she was married to Charles Anderson. He preceded her in death on March 8, 2006.
Wanda went back to college at the age of 48 and attended Indiana University - Kokomo where she completed her junior year as a Criminal Justice major.
A homemaker, she helped her husband operate Poor Boy's Trading Post.
Wanda had attended The Cross at the Crossroads. She loved winning Bingo Bucks at Woodbridge and flourished in their care. Wanda was an avid reader. Family meant everything to Wanda, especially her grandchildren, who she had helped raise.
She is survived by three children; ten grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and both husbands, she was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Strayer; three brothers - Homer Wilson Jr, Gene Dalton and Web Dalton; and two sisters, Hazel Kesling and Mary Johnson.
A funeral service celebrating Wanda's life will be held at 6 PM on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 in Fisher Funeral Chapel. Rev. Dr. Gregory Elkins will officiate.
Friends will be received from 4 PM until the time of the service.
A private burial will be held at a later date in Mount Hope Cemetery.
