Bank president. A graduate of EPWORTH SEMINARY in 1883, Anderson worked as a surveyor for the CHICAGO AND GREAT WESTERN RAILROAD in the Dakotas and then entered the railway mail service in 1886. When the city of Epworth needed to be surveyed and platted for permanent sidewalks, Anderson provided the service free of charge. he remained a financial backer of the seminary and served as president of the Epworth Saving Bank.
