Helen Armstrong Marble 75, of Springfield died at 1:40 p.m. Thursday at her residence.
She was born Feb. 11, 1916, in Springfield, the daughter of Frank and Cora Cook Allison. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, in June.
Mrs. Marble was a member of Laurel United Methodist Church, Lake Press Club and the Farm Bureau.
Surviving are two stepdaughters, Phyllis Craig of Dearborn, Mich., and Carol Carey of Marysville, Calif.; four stepgrandsons; one brother, Joseph Allison of Springfield; one sister, Frances Fromm of Kenosha, Wis.; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Ellinger-Kunz and Davis Funeral Home, with the Rev. George Russell officiating. Burial will be in Diamond Grove Cemetery, Jacksonville.
