MOS: 6319 Aircraft CNE/Weapons/DECM Systems Technician.
Paul arrived in Vietnam 15 July 1967 and was assigned to VMO-6, MAG-36, 1st Marine Air Wing.
He died as a result of multiple injuries to the body when the helicopter that he was a crew chief of was involved in a mid-air collision with another helicopter and both helicopters crashed, northwest of Dong Ha with wounded Marines.
Paul was single and served his country for 2 years.
Survived by his parents, Francis J and Etta L Allen, and two brothers; Tom and Steve and two sister; Ruth Ann and Mary Lou all of Rochester, Minnesota.
