Freddie Allen died (reported in the Oct. 21, 1892 paper) in Oregon, Mo., aged 4 months and seven days. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Allen.
Burial in Maple Grove Cemetery.

From The Holt County Sentinel-October 21, 1892-

Mr. and Mrs. George Allen, of this city (Oregon, MO), mourn the death of their infant son, Freddie, who tarried with them but four months, one week, but quite long enough to weave his little life into their most tender affections and make it very hard for them to give him up.

Last Sabbath morning, at 10 o'clock, the family residence was fully occupied by sympathizing friends who came to sorrow with the afflicted family and by word and flower to attest respect for the little human flower that bloomed but to fade and die and then to revive and bloom again forever.

Rev. Roberts conducted the last rites for the dead and the little form was given a resting place in Maple Grove Cemetery till the greater than Elijah shall transplant it into the garden of eternity.
