William Lee Alexander, Sr., of Draper, died Aug. 14, 2003 in Lewis Gale Hospital.

He was born Mar. 15, 1920 and was the son of the late Charles and Rebecca Alexander.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Vida L. Alexander and a son Barry K. Alexander, six brothers, two sisters.

He was a member of the Draper Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church, Draper.

Surviving are: his sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Charlotte Alexander, Christiansburg, Bill and Judy Alexander, Pulaski; daughters and sons-in-law, Carol Jean and Donald Sweeney, Roanoke, Vicki and Bobby Cruff, Killeen, Texas; grandchildren and spouses, Tonia Wood, Roanoke, Brian and Melissa Alexander, Christiansburg, Kevin and Bethany Alexander, Christiansburg, Holly Hubbard, Roanoke, April Alexander, Raleigh, N. Funeral services will be held Sunday, Aug. 17 at 2:30 p.m. at the Draper Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Pastor Jim Dunn, Pastor Michael Ingo and Pastor Kenneth Fogus officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visiting will be Saturday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski.
