Naomi Joan Christenson, 70, died Thursday, Sept. 15, 2005 in Wichita Falls, TX.
Visitation was from 6 to 8 pm Sept. 18, 2005 at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial was at 10AM Monday, Sept. 18, 2005, at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Bowie TX, with Father Stephen Berg officiating. Burial was in Hopewell Cemetery near Stoneburg, TX under the direction of White Family Funeral Home, Bowie, TX.
Naomi Christenson was a licensed vocational nurse. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hershel Lyons and husband, Harold Christenson, her parents, Ellis and Alma Riddle Alexander, her maternal grandparents, Ivisson and Ophelia Monk Riddle, and younger sister.
Her first husband, Hershel Lyons, was killed in a car accident in El Paso, TX and Harold Christenson died in MI and later she moved back to Texas due to ill health.
Survivors include her children. Pam Lyons Sappington of Bowie, Linda Lyons Hinton and Jimmy Lyons of Las Vegas, Patricia Brackett of Cabot, AR, Cathy Christenson of Denver, CO, Diane Raue and Janice Gilmore both of Nevis, MI, David Christenson of Higgins, TX, 16 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
