Bio

Have immediate family buried at Hopewell Cemetery Stoneburg, Montague Co, TX with other grandparents & great grandparents in other cemeteries in Montague Co, TX plus Grants Chapel Cemetery & Old Mount Tabor Cemetery in Montgomery Co., AR. Family I trace more are Weatherford, Nail, Gann, Long, McKinley, House, Butler & Grissom. Also trace family's that have members buried @ Hopewell.

My pictures are not to be used in any type of publication without my at least knowledge. I've added pictures to Findagrave and some are showing up on FamilySearch which I cannot stop but it would be nice if I'm asked prior rather than my finding by chance on other websites. And my pictures should never be used in any way to financially benefit yourself.

I am not of the mindset, "the memorials I maintain are mine & you have to proof you're a close relative by showing your family tree three ways with documents to request a transfer". If I have a memorial someone wants just ask and give me a reason, a little background of why you want it. Of course, if the memorial is my relative or was a friend, I'll let you know the reason I want to keep the memorial. Maintainers that tell one person go by the rules then will transfer to a none relative apparently plays favoritism and rules don't really matter. All maintainers should be able to enjoy working on F/G and be able to request memorials of their cousins, friends, relatives of friends, neighbors if they had a place in your past. When possible memorials should be personalized by people that knew something about them or their family. Ancestry.com doesn't contain the person's life just some facts and just because it's on the internet doesn't necessarily mean everything is correct. Also, if a close relative doesn't share the passion of maintaining a memorial but prefers a certain member of F/G do it for them I see nothing wrong with that. I try to help friends find relatives and suggest where I'm allowed.

Of the hundreds of suggests I make the majority of the people I work with are extremely nice, and the few that aren't I've learned there will be no pleasing no matter how hard I try and be thankful there are only a few and pray for those.
