Peggy Jo Aldrich Meyer, 56, of Lafayette, died at 9:47 PM Aug. 21, 1990, in St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center, following an illness of one week. Born Jan. 5, 1934, in Carroll County, she was the daughter of Ervil L. and Jessie Herr Aldrich. She had been a resident of Lafayette 30 years. Her marriage was on Feb. 5, 1966, in Lafayette, to L. Gene Meyer, Sr., who died Jan. 5,1983.

Mrs. Meyer graduated from Delphi High School in 1952, and was employed for 17 years as a clerk in the Purdue University Fowler House. She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are one daughter, Susan Cadwallader Hufhand; three stepsons, Donald Meyer of Florida, Louis G. Meyer Jr. of Lafayette, and Richard D. Meyer of West Lafayette; a stepdaughter, Debra Jo Meyer of Anderson; her stepmother, Melba Aldrich of Delphi; two sisters, Lulu Belle Sacha of Delphi and Sharon Servies of Indianapolis; two brothers, Ellis Aldrich of Delphi and James Aldrich of Colorado; three stepsisters, Betty Heise of Burrows, Sharon Parr of Rt. 2, Monticello, and Carol Berkshire of Logansport; one stepbrother, John B. Berkshire of Rt. 1, Delphi; and two
grandchildren.

Services were Friday in Lafayette, with burial in Tippecanoe
