She was born March 24, 1896 in the Town of Bear Creek, Waupaca County, the daughter of the late George W. and Margaret (Bumhauer) Long.
On August 11, 1920, Myrtle was united in marriage to Edward Aggen in Tilleda. He preceded her in death on September 27, 1969.
She is survived by two sons, Raymond, Shawano and Donald, Tigerton, one brother, John Long, Wittenberg and one sister, Bernice (William) Rosenow, Gresham.
She was preceded in death by eight brothers, including, Chancie, Joe, Russell, Howard and Harry and two sisters.
Funeral services were held January 10, 1978 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Wittenberg. The Rev. R.C. Reinholtzen officiated. Interment was in Forest Home Cemetery, Wittenberg.
