He was born January 24, 1890 in the township of Wittenberg, the son of the late Conrad and Emma (Finger) Aggen.
On August 11, 1920 Edward was united in marriage to Myrtle Long in Tilleda. She survives.
Edward also served in the Army during World War I.
Survivors include his wife, Myrtle; two sons, Raymond, Shawano; Donald, Tigerton; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Fred (Ella) and Richard (Ernestine), all of Wittenberg.
Funeral services were held September 30, 1969 at the Vinal Street Church. Rev. Carl Musall officiated. Interment was in Forest Home Cemetery, Wittenberg.
