Obituary for Elizabeth Alice Adams
Wichita: Elizabeth Alice Adams, 95, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016 in Wichita, Kansas.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, July 25, 2016, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Chapel, with officiating. Burial will be in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
Elizabeth was born Monday, December 20, 1920 in Lawton to Roy L and Rosa Mae (Miller) McCaig. She attended and graduated school at Marlow High Schools as a member of the Class of 1940. Elizabeth married Franklin Lester Adams on December 16, 1941 in Pauls Valley, he preceded her in death. She made the Marlow area her home most of her life prior to moving to Wichita, Kansas in 1978. She enjoyed working in her garden. Elizabeth enjoyed time spent with family, she loved to cook for everyone. Being with family and watching her family grow, watching her children and grandchildren play sports or anything they were involved in. Elizabeth enjoyed all the season of her life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Haysville, Kansas.
Survivors include, 2- Sons Frank Adams Jr and his wife Margie of Wichita Kansas
Michael Adams and his wife Theresa of Tulsa Oklahoma 4-Daughters Mary Oroke and husband John of Wichita Kansas
Bea Carr and husband Richard of Wichita Kansas
Martha Adams of Wichita Kansas Sandy Reinhard and husband Dieter of Wichita Kansas 8- Grandchildren 7 Great Grandchildren Numerous Nieces and Nephews
She was preceded in death by Parents, Husband Franklin Lester Adams, 1- Son John R Adams
6- Brothers and 3-Sisters
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Foundation
Pallbearers will be Grandsons.
