Menne F.H. Ackerman, 86, of 916 South Center Street, passed away in a Beatrice hospital early this morning.
He was born January 21, 1882 in Gage County and moved to Beatrice from a farm north-west of Filley, 27 years ago.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Ralph (Johanna) Huls of Beatrice and Mrs. Joseph (Marie) Kugler of Brainard, several nieces and nephews. Two sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday from the Fox-DeBuhr Funeral Home with Pastor Otto Fangmeyer, officiating. Burial will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery of rural Pickrell.
A memorial has been established with Fox-DeBuhr Funeral Home in charge.
