Born in East Bridgewater, a son of the late Robert and Jessie (Cruickshank) Abram, he lived in Somerset most of his life.
Mr. Abram worked for the Blackstone Valley Gas & Electric Co., the Firestone Co. for 15 years and the Naval Underwater Ordinance Center for 12 years before retiring in 1979.
He was a member of the Somerset United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of the Bradford Durfee Textile School.

A Funeral service will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton St. Burial will be in Nathan Slade Cemetery.
